Kicker Rock:

On a small boat near San Cristóbal’s west coast, we’ll sail towards a natural aquarium. Diving into the crystal-clear waters, we’ll explore a mesmerizing world teeming with large schools of fish, graceful sea turtles, elegant rays, and the occasional presence of white or black fin sharks. This fantastic place showcases the thriving species that call it home, offering a unique and unforgettable experience within its depths. Get ready to be enthralled as we immerse ourselves in this underwater paradise, where the beauty and diversity of marine life await our discovery.

Bahía Naufragio:

In a truly magnificent location, lies the remnants of a shipwreck from the previous century, creating a haven for various reef fish. This fantastic place, accessible with the guidance of our knowledgeable guide, has transformed into a thriving habitat for a diverse array of marine life. As we venture to this captivating site, we will witness the vibrant colors and intricate beauty of the reef fish that now call this wreck their home. Prepare to be enchanted as we explore this underwater treasure trove, immersing ourselves in the wonders of this unique and captivating ecosystem.

During our journey, we will gather on board to receive an informative briefing, ensuring we have all the necessary knowledge and understanding for our dives. We will conduct thorough equipment checks to guarantee our safety and readiness before descending into the depths. For the discovery dive, we will embark on a single dive, exploring the underwater wonders at a depth of approximately 10 meters. As our adventure draws to a close, we will sail back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, where we will find our accommodations awaiting us, providing a comfortable retreat to conclude our Galapagos experience.

SPEEDBOAT TO SANTA CRUZ – CERRO MESA (HORSEBACK) – GARRAPATERO (BIKING)

As the first rays of sunlight illuminate Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island, we will embark on an extraordinary adventure. This island is renowned for its magnificent giant tortoises, freely roaming the lush landscapes in search of nourishment and water. Witnessing these legendary creatures in their natural habitat will be a truly awe-inspiring experience.

Next, we will embark on a tranquil horseback ride along peaceful side roads, immersing ourselves in the island’s serene ambiance. Our journey will lead us to a spectacular natural lava tunnel, where we can marvel at the fascinating geological formations carved by ancient volcanic activity.

In the afternoon, we will continue our exploration by visiting a breathtaking natural reserve, offering panoramic views that will leave us in awe. Here, we will encounter another species of scientifically recognized giant turtles, adding to the richness of our encounter with these magnificent creatures.

After the reserve visit, we will descend on bicycles, enjoying a thrilling ride that takes us to the beach. This will be a perfect opportunity to relax and rejuvenate, or perhaps engage in an exhilarating kayaking adventure, further immersing ourselves in the island’s natural splendor.

DIVING (EXPERTS) OR DISCOVERY DIVE (NO EXPERIENCE)

Prepare for another exhilarating dive in one of the most awe-inspiring locations within the Galapagos archipelago.

Our dive destinations will vary depending on the day of our visit and our experience level. Some potential options include:

Seymour-Mosquera: Here, we can marvel at an abundance of reef fish, with the possibility of encountering white-tip sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles, and even large marine pelagics like Galapagos sharks.

Gordon Rocks: This remarkable dive site offers the opportunity to witness the magnificence of hammerhead sharks, rays, turtles, and a diverse array of fish species. Due to the currents present in this area, this dive is recommended for intermediate to advanced divers.

Daphne-Seymour: Besides observing captivating seabirds such as boobies, tropical birds, and swallow-tailed gulls on the island’s cliffs, this dive promises encounters with mantas, rays, sea turtles, schools of salemas, pelagic fish, and sharks.

No matter which destination awaits us, we will receive an informative briefing on board before the first dive. There will be a designated interval between the dives to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

For those participating in the discovery dive, we will embark on a single dive at approximately 10 meters. The subsequent activity will involve surface diving, allowing us to relish the enchanting views above the water’s surface.

As our diving adventure concludes, we will sail back to Santa Cruz Island, specifically Puerto Ayora, where we will find our accommodations awaiting us, providing a comfortable and welcoming stay to conclude our Galapagos exploration.
